Sarvin Parviz is a writer from Tehran. She loves to move across genres and to write about the intersection of diaspora, identity, language and home. Serendipitously, she was introduced to micro-fiction while browsing in a bookstore in Milan where she was studying opera. She left this passion behind to enjoy creating her own characters on paper. Currently, she studies at the MFA creative writing program at Southern Illinois University (Carbondale).
